I found working with a drawing package on my i-pad to be quite a challenge, but very enjoyable and it proved to be quite a flexible tool, especially useful for working outdoors.

I was initially inspired by seeing David Hockney's work using the same medium, although I know my limitations forbid any direct comparisons with him!
